“ This is a typical Meat and three restaurant but so much better than the usual ones I frequent. The servers know their customers by name and don't mind razzing them in a friendly way. I had not eaten all day so I went "fresh' BBQ with Texas Slaw (yes Texas) and white beans. It was all really good. When I asked the server what Texas slaw was she said 'its really sweet'.....we have red and white slaw too. I went Texas since I have been to Texas yet never heard of nor seen Texas slaw. It was really sweet and I am not sure I'd get it again but it was definitely unique. I like unique. The BBQ was fresh. The sauce was on the side and was vinegar based. The white beans were piping hot and good as well. My travel partner got the 3 veggie plate and liked it. Their cornbread is different. Not bad. Just different. Almost like cornbread and cornpone had a pastry baby. ”
“ Excellent service and food. Not much else to say, its a really good family resturaunt with plenty of seating and fresh food, and seafood. The Village burger is a solid American burger, and the beef was cooked properly, everything was served hot and was quick to the table and the price was extremely fair. The family that owns it is above and beyond, incredibly friendly and will make you feel at home. Can't say enough good things about this quaint and lovely resturaunt. ”
“ Spaghetti meal was awesome. Large helping and garlic toast. The sweet tea is a true southern treat. ”
“ The Denton in-laws have been telling mouthwatering tales about the village for years and I finally made it in to dine, and I'll be back. Great food and excellent customer service. Thank you for hanging onto my toddler's stuffed Hello Kitty and helping reunite them; you made her very happy. ”
